Sunny Coast based lens lady Janneke Storm travels Australia shooting humans in love from Noosa to Tassie and everywhere in between. We were lucky enough to have her shoot the Aframe for this website and our airbnb listing and as a regular guest she knows every inch of our 16 acres so well.
Weddings by Sam
Sam is an extremely talented interiors and lifestyle photographer who also happens to shoot weddings so her lens would positively eat up our petite Aframe’s warm interiors. She floats between the South Coast and Sydney shooting humans in love and she’s not afraid to get a little wet if its raining which we dig.
Kristie Carrick
Kristie is lucky enough to live right in the heart of Sydney’s Royal National Park making her well placed to capture South Coast and Southern Highlands weddings, elopements and loved up celebrations. Like everyone on this list, she’s a valued member of the Hello May directory and is an all round lovely human.
Zoe Morley
We’ve worked hard at Hello May over the last decade to curate a list of the best of the best wedding photographers so it only makes sense we pull from this list when it comes to recommending amazing folk to capture your elopement. Zoe is one of the best and has an amazing eye for capturing fleeting moments.
Scott Surplice
Based on Sydneys Southern Beaches and a regular guest of the Aframe, Scotty actually helped us lay our turf once construction finished, so you can literally thank him for the grass beneath your feet. He regularly shoots in the Valley and knows the area well, so you can’t go wrong with this tall specimen of a human.
Hayley Rafton
Based in Sydney or roundabouts (she’s a woman who is always on the move so we ain’t quite sure) Hayley is the go-to when it comes to romantic elopements and micro weddings. She is also the photographer who has spent the most amount of time photographing Aframe Kangaroo Valley so knows the area well.
Ben Sowry
This former South Coast legend may have relocated to the Sunny Coast but he still shoots weddings and elopements down south on the regular. Obsessed with the intimacy of elopements, Ben is your guy for quiet mornings spent getting ready in the loft of the Aframe and every adventure there after.
The Salty Shutter
Last time we actually ran into Dane was at The General Cafe in Kangaroo Valley, so it just goes to show he’s another Sydney photographer who spends a great deal of time on the South Coast. His photos are gorgeous. You can check out more of his wedding and elopement work via the links below
Damien Milan
Blue Mountains based Damien Milan is one of our fave adventure/elopement photographers. Like everyone on this list he’s such a nice human being and incredibly talented photographer. If you’re planning to tie the knot at Three Views Walk in Morton National Park, take this guy with you.
Samantha Heather
Sydney based Samantha Heather is one of the deadset sweetest humans you will ever meet and we’re all kinds of obsessed with her light filled and candid photos. Like all of the photographers on this list, she’s a valued member of the Hello May directory and just really bloody good at what she does.
Red Berry Photography
Owned and operated by Chris Jallard and his wife Hannah, these guys are located just over the mountain in Berry (a scenic 25 drive up and over the mountain). They are true blue South Coast locals (by way of Sydney a decade ago) and know the area so well. There couples always rave about their gorgeous work.
Blaise Bell
We first met Blaise at a photography workshop. One boozy night in Canggu and a few weddings later we couldn’t love this guy more. He’s an amazing photographer and like everyone on this list and the Hello May directory, a super nice dude. His relaxed style is well suited to elopements and their ensuing adventures.

Based in Berry, a short 25 minute hop, skip and a jump over the mountain, Jo and her team of deadset legends are on of the best caterers on the South Coast. Their grazing tables are the stuff dreams are made of and their mini sliders and arancini balls are all of your foodie dreams come to life.

The Wilderness Chef
Based in Newcastle, Cooper is all self described ‘travelling chef’ and is all kinds of passionate about creating restaurant quality dining experiences for people in unimaginable locations all over Australia (like Kangaroo Valley for example). Think foraged produce, farm to table fare and seasonal delights.
The Wild Kitchen
Renowned chef, author and reigning queen of the campfire cookout, Sarah Glover and her team at The Wild Kitchen sure know their way around some hot coals. Based in Tassie she travels the world cooking up drool worthy feasts in makeshift outdoor kitchens for large weddings and petite elopements alike.

Married by Allegra
Another fave plucked straight from the Hello May directory, Married by Allegra is super lovely and fun and she regularly services the Southern Highlands and South Coast wedding scene. So if you’re after a great human to guide you through the business end of eloping, she’s definitely your gal, guys!
Love Lisa
Based in Kiama Lisa (another fave from the Hello May directory, does anyone see a pattern forming here) is only 40 minutes drive up and over the mountain. She’s all about creating heartfelt ceremonies that are a true reflection of you as a couple. She needs about three months notice so lock her in quick!

Jacqua Celebrant.
Another South Coast based celebrant who’s work we bloody love. Jacq officiated our cousin Carolines wedding and we can legit confirm she’s hilarious. It was one of the best ceremonies we’ve ever witnessed. Adding to her overall awesomeness she herself ran away to the Nevada Desert to elope - so she gets it, guys!

Owner Dani is one of the go-to stylists and florists on the South Coast. Based in Nowra, she’s only a 25 minute drive from Kangaroo Valley and is your first port of call for all things floral. Her wild bouquets and arbours are the stuff of legends. She also has an impressive hire range if you’re looking to DIY!

Clare is the passionate owner and creative director of Gypsy Carmen. With a shopfront in Ulladulla, Clare is well placed to service the entire South Coast and Southern Highlands, including our beautiful little corner of Kangaroo Valley.
